Tucker Technology
The Tucker technology is a closed-loop system for conversion of carbonaceous feedstock at a temperature of over 850°C, with feedstock airlocks and no inputs of oxygen, or carrier gas during the conversion process; oxidation during conversion is very low, resulting in high organic gas output. The organic gas is cleaned using a portion of the carbon biochar as a filtering medium, eliminating the need for filter or scrubbers. One unit has the capacity to process 32 tonnes of dry feed stock per day.
